Luscious Baby Shower
WITH LOVE FOR LIL NATE BABY-SHOWER
For many years I have spoken of having a lavish Baby Shower for my next child. When the day came, I knew I wanted to go over the top in celebration.
After so many months in Lockdown, not being able to see friends or family or bring people together, I set to work on creating a spectacular shower that would be the backdrop of conversations and laughter after months indoors and of course all the fun that comes from a baby shower for men and women alike.
With our home as the backdrop, I decided to take advantage of the architectural details in my dining room. I knew I wanted Balloons, a Lavish Dessert display and strong branding. From there I set to carve out the details for the Baby shower.
The Backdrop of the day was a custom Cake and accessories wall I designed during the pandemic whilst waiting for events to come back. The backdrop can hold anything from mini cakes, florals or branding items. In this case, I added Personalised towels and baby blankets embroidered with the Logo as well as a selection of mini Cakes, Chocolate photo frames and sweet treats.
LuxBalloonsltd worked with me to create the vision on what became the focal point, a handcrafted perfect Balloon display in hues of brown, caramel and apricot.
The shapes and colours of the Balloons were extended to the cake and dessert table which featured beautifully crafted deserts in the same hues and branding with thanks from Cocoa Lux and Lucia Dorceria.
Catering was in line with the theme of the day and honoured the father’s Caribean roots with a selection of Rice and peas, Curry Goat and Jerk Wings and Mac and Cheese! in addition we had what is the most delicious Guiness punch in the cutest Animal bottles ( the colour and the flavours matched the theme so win- win)
Now more than ever, it is important that we celebrate all of the good things in life, especially babies! Lil Nate was able to bring together family and friends, and we were thrilled to just see and celebrate with everyone.
