Destination Bride Advice

Elizabeth and Lamide celebrated their intimate wedding in July 2019 in Rabat Malta. I had a chance to sit down with her to hear all about her destination wedding planning journey and advice she has for those wanting to celebrate their nuptials abroad.

Beautiful and intimate. The wedding that we'd hoped for came into fruition. But how was the journey? Planning the wedding was a huge task. All we were thinking was that there’s something special about getting married far far away with lovely scenery in the background but there is alot to take into account when planning for a wedding abroad.

Organisation was 100% key. It went beyond just the venue. Selecting a date was very important as we had to consider the weather and options for if the weather didn't go as we'd hoped.

Looking back, it was a great experience even during times that we found challenging for example, picking the right local vendors. We did alot of research and communicating frequently with the vendors was important to us which gave us confidence in how the day was going to go. All in all, it was definitely worth it.
